Nertzy is the classic NERTS card game — solitaire meets a footrace — for iPhone and iPad.
Everyone plays at once; there are no turns. Race your opponents to play cards onto the shared piles in the middle of the table (aces start piles, build up by suit), dig through your own Nerts pile, and hit the big red button when it’s empty. +1 point for every card you play to the table, −2 for every card left in your Nerts pile. First to 100 wins.
The sound stopped working. Check the silent switch on the side of your device — Nertzy respects it. Sound also pauses politely for phone calls and Siri, and comes back on its own afterward.
The game paused by itself. Nertzy pauses whenever you leave the app (calls, app switching, locking your phone) so the robots can’t play while you’re not looking. Tap Resume to continue.
Where did the finished piles go? When a pile reaches its king, the king flips face down and the pile leaves the table to keep things tidy. Those cards still count in the scoring.
